About the role
The Alexa+ team is building new services and experiences for Amazon's next-generation AI-powered personal assistant, Alexa+. This role involves leading complex, cross-functional programs that span multiple engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-organizational technical programs — from ambiguous concept through launch and operation — including requirements, technical design, planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to annual and quarterly planning cycles, translating organizational strategy into actionable program plans.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to align priorities, make trade-off decisions, and communicate program status to senior leadership.
- Establish and improve mechanisms — status reporting, operational reviews, launch readiness, and audit metrics — that create visibility and explain variance against goals.
- Drive engineering and operational excellence by embedding quality, reliability, and launch-readiness standards into program planning and execution.
- Champion the use of generative AI both in the experiences we ship and in our own program and engineering practices to accelerate time to market.
Requirements
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Pay
Base salary range: $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually
