About the role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you'll drive the development of next-generation features powered by advanced AI technologies, including Generative, Agentic, and Real-time AI. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and data science, to design and deliver innovative solutions that leverage these AI technologies to enable seamless, intelligent experiences. You'll also lead the integration of these advanced AI systems into Alexa's core capabilities, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Comms initiatives across sync, async, contacts management, device software, and common services.
  • Partner with engineering teams, leadership, product management, and UX to ensure we're building the best customer experience using innovative technologies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for broader Alexa+ mechanisms like LRs, Deep Dives, and Product Days.
  • Stakeholder management across Alexa and partner teams, including managing executive-level communications.
  • Lead the roadmap prioritization process.
  • Manage cross-functional quality initiatives like CPDR deep dives and fixes.
  • Establish and improve processes for managing complex, cross-functional programs and coordinating release schedules.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management.
  • Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Pay

USA, CA, Sunnyvale - $171,000.00 - $231,400.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle - $148,700.00 - $201,200.00 USD annually
