About the role
The Alexa+ Enterprise Business Development team is looking for a Technical Business Development Manager to drive Alexa+ growth through direct enterprise partnerships for commercial deployment across a diverse set of industries. This role involves owning enterprise brand relationships, scaling the adoption of Alexa+ Enterprise solutions, and working collaboratively with internal teams to secure alignment and execute deals.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop Alexa+ Enterprise channel partner relationships within your assigned segment, including partner management, new business development, and sales enablement.
- Engage prospective enterprise customers to communicate the Alexa+ Enterprise value proposition and ROI.
- Negotiate and secure enterprise partnerships.
- Identify and secure integration partnerships to improve product utility and enable new enterprise use cases.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and drive alignment across internal stakeholders including product, engineering, legal, finance, marketing, and executive leadership to remove blockers and accelerate deal execution.
- Communicate voice of customer (VOC) insights to product and engineering teams to inform the product roadmap and drive product improvement.
- Support pipeline prioritization by factoring in integration readiness, product availability, technical dependencies, and other operational constraints to maximize conversion and long-term value.
- Represent Alexa+ Enterprise externally at industry events, partner meetings, and customer engagements to build Amazon's brand and expand the partner and customer pipeline.
Requirements
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate
Skills
- Strong dealmaking skills with technical credibility
- Ability to navigate complex enterprise environments and manage multi-stakeholder dynamics
- Comfortable engaging at the executive level and conducting complex commercial and technical negotiations
- Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and driving revenue growth
- Solid business acumen and excellent communication skills
- Able to influence stakeholders across functions—both internally and externally
