At AWS Enterprise Support, we're looking for a Sr. Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support and influence our customers' creative and transformative spirit of innovation across all technology areas, including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, AI/ML, Application-level Services, Networking, Serverless, and more. This is not a sales role, but rather an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises—serving as their advocate to AWS product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute technical cloud strategies to drive customer adoption and use of AWS services.
  • Represent AWS at customer engagements and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding operational excellence, cloud maturity, support, and risk management.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to plan and build solutions using best practices.
  • Proactively keep customers' AWS environments operationally healthy.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, helping them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
  • Travel 10% or more as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting experience with distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of technical engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to apply them to customer architecture, implementations, and solutions.

Pay

The base salary range for this position varies by location:

  • Mountain View, CA: $176,600 - $239,000 USD annually
  • San Diego, CA: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually
  • Atlanta, GA: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually
  • New York, NY: $169,000 - $228,600 USD annually
  • Dallas, TX: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually
  • Arlington, VA: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually
  • Bellevue, WA: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually
  • Seattle, WA: $153,600 - $207,800 USD annually

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
