About the Opportunity

The Senior Program Manager leads complex, enterprise-wide programs aligned with strategic priorities that improve healthcare operations and provider networks. This role manages the full program lifecycle, from strategic planning and value definition through execution, adoption, and measurable outcomes.

The position works closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that improve cost, quality, compliance, and the overall healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define program vision, objectives, and success metrics aligned with enterprise strategy
  • Manage the full program lifecycle, including value articulation, benefits tracking, and executive reporting
  • Develop and maintain end-to-end program roadmaps across multiple initiatives and teams
  • Make scope, sequencing, and prioritization decisions while balancing value, risk, and organizational capacity
  • Secure and manage program funding and adjust plans as business needs change
  • Establish governance structures, escalation paths, and change control processes
  • Provide transparent executive reporting on progress, risks, issues, and outcomes
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and resolve conflicts and resource constraints
  • Escalate and resolve complex issues involving senior leadership
  • Ensure delivery of integrated solutions across systems and workflows
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure readiness, adoption, and long-term sustainment
  • Lead programs designed to improve provider data quality and usability
  • Coordinate initiatives affecting provider contracting, network operations, and reimbursement workflows
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and data leaders to maintain aligned roadmaps
  • Facilitate steering committees and executive forums to support alignment and decision-making
  • Provide data-driven insights and trusted recommendations to leadership
  • Mentor team members and strengthen program management capabilities across the organization

Requirements

  • 10+ years of program or portfolio management experience within large, matrixed enterprises
  • Proven success leading enterprise-scale, cross-functional programs with senior-level organizational impact
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex dependencies
  • Advanced skills in program planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and benefits tracking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with provider networks, healthcare operations, data platforms, or related programs
  • Familiarity with operating model transformation, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives

Pay and Benefits

  • Salary range of $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment
  • Compensation is determined by factors including local labor markets, education, experience, certifications, and other relevant considerations
