Sr. Systems Engineer - Platform/Infrastructure (TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required)

About the role

This position serves as a Sr. Systems Engineer responsible for platform and infrastructure management within a secure environment. Key responsibilities include cloud architecture and system design, database integration, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architectures and systems
• Integrate and manage relational and non-relational databases
• Architect and integrate with workflow, case, or ticketing platforms
• Work with IDAM requirements and technologies
• Conduct system testing and validation
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Utilize DevOps tooling and containerized development environments
• Communicate complex issues effectively through writing and speaking

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field
• DoDD 8140 requirements met (Security+ CE Certification)
• Expertise in Linux platforms and COTS applications
• Strong troubleshooting and solutioning skills
• Experience with cloud solutions and system design
• Knowledge of IDAM technologies and workflows
• Experience with system testing and validation
• Proficient in DevOps tooling and containerization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Model-Based Systems Engineering experience preferred
• Experience with cloud solution optimization
• Familiarity with visualization tools and ServiceNow
• Experience with customer system security requirements
• Experience with virtualized applications and application streaming
• Experience leading and overseeing system perspectives
• Experience with API design and event-driven systems
• Experience with DevOps testing and API gateways
• Experience integrating complex systems using APIs and ETL pipelines
• Experience with Azure, Google, Oracle, or IBM Cloud
