Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling (TS/SCI w/ CI Poly required)

About the role

We are actively seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience. Must meet DoDD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification) and hold a TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain TeamWork Cloud and Cameo (and associated tools like Cassandra DB) as AaC using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environment
  • Expertise configuring, deploying, and maintaining applications as AaC through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Demonstrate solid engineering rigor and expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
  • Work with relational and/or non-relational databases (e.g. Cassandra, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Communicate complex issues clearly and succinctly
  • Integrate applications with workflow, case or ticketing, or automation platforms such as ServiceNow or custom-built systems
  • Understand and implement IDAM requirements and technologies including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, and/or OIDC
  • Create comprehensive test plans for unit and user system testing and validation
  • Develop integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
  • Use basic DevOps Tooling (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Lead and oversee a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domains
  • Manage COTS applications/tools systems engineering experience (configuring/deploying AaC using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environment)
  • Manage IBM Enterprise Lifecycle as AaC using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environment
  • Manage SharePoint as AaC using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environment
  • Manage Tableau as AaC using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environment
  • Manage API Gateways, catalogs in a cloud-based environment
  • Develop cross-domain capabilities
  • Have experience with Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM
  • Be comfortable with Containerized Development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field
  • At least DoDD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
  • Experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining applications as AaC using CI/CD pipeline in a cloud-based environment
  • Expertise configuring, deploying, and maintaining applications as AaC through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab
  • Experience with IDAM requirements and technologies including Active Directory, SAML, OpenLDAP, OAuth 2.0, and/or OIDC
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with containerized development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)
