About the Opportunity
The Sr Systems Analyst will focus on developing applications that support multiple paper mill operations across the United States. This role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing software systems that enable efficient industrial processes. The position demands strong technical skills and effective collaboration in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the operational success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications for supporting eight paper mills across the U.S.
- Work within SQL Server and Microsoft Windows/Active Directory environments.
- Utilize .NET framework and SQL skills to build and maintain software.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Travel as needed for project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience with VB.Net, C#, and .NET framework 4 or higher.
- Proficiency in SQL Server 2017 or newer, including writing queries and creating stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Familiarity with source control systems, preferably Git.
- Preferred but not required: experience with web development technologies including ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Blazor, JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Preferred qualifications: 5 to 7 years experience in Windows desktop development using Windows Forms or WPF.
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks under pressure, and adapt to change.
