Sr Support, Logistics

Responsibilities

• Ensure all truckload shipments have assigned carriers
• Perform all tactical home delivery functions: issue resolution, order management, and agent changes
• Maintain effective communication between manufacturing operations, customer service, home delivery agents and carriers
• Resolve time critical transportation and delivery issues utilizing cost effective methods
• Identify recurring issues, investigate root causes, and drive actions to resolution

Requirements

• Cross training in other positions within the department
• Able to work an alternate schedule which may require evening and weekend availability occasionally

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Supply Chain, Business or related field strongly preferred
• Leverage Lean/ Six Sigma training and/or certification
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience using PowerBI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools is a plus
