Sr. Structural Project Engineer

About the role

This key role will execute a broad set of engineering competencies, technical design knowledge and problem-solving skills as well as provide mentorship to others in an environment that values collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Executes the structural portion of major projects in the areas of industrial, commercial, science + technology.
• Manages all structural engineering contributions to projects including on-site data gathering, design, specifications, client contact, contract documents, shop drawing review and construction coordination.
• Proactively works across multi-discipline design teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on structures.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (required or ability to obtain).
• 10+ years of experience in structural design and analysis/project leadership responsibilities.
• Wide range of knowledge in design of structural steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed metal framing, deep foundations, precast.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Competence in design/analysis software such as Ram Structures/Elements, TEDDS, Hilti Profis, L-Pile.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities, work independently and complete assignments to schedule.

Qualifications
