      • Precast concrete elements
      • Retaining walls
      • Railings
      • All component connections
    • Prepare, review, and approve complete design calculation packages, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Ensure final quality of all engineering deliverables, including design calculations, submittals, and shop drawings.
  • Project & Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Report to the Director of Engineering and act as a technical authority within the company’s project tracking systems, including site applications, limitations, and manufacturing processes.
    • Manage project schedules, priorities, and workloads in coordination with Sales and Engineering leadership.
    • Provide regular project forecasts, progress updates, and risk assessments.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation and communication using Salesforce CRM.
  • Team Leadership & Standards
    • Lead, mentor, and support Structural Designers and engineers to elevate technical performance and professional growth.
    • Review peer drawings for accuracy and compliance with established CAD standards; perform minor drawing revisions as needed.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
    • Operate in alignment with the company's core values and support a culture of quality, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in structural or civil engineering, preferably within construction or precast environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of AASHTO, ACI, ASCE, and related design codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
