We're looking for a Senior Staff Product Designer to serve as a design leader and visionary for Frame.io's product experience.
What You'll Do
- Drive product-wide design strategy and vision.
- You'll work across the entire Frame.io product to identify the most important opportunities, define long-term design direction, and ensure a cohesive, best-in-class experience.
- You'll shape what we build and how we build it through rapid prototyping, validation, and exceptional craft.
- Set and uphold the highest standard for design excellence across Frame.io.
- Your work will define what exceptional looks like—from foundational systems to innovative new patterns.
- You'll ensure every experience reflects our commitment to fluidity, elegance, and obsessive attention to detail.
- Lead through prototyping and design exploration.
- You'll use the latest tools like Cursor, Figma, and emerging AI-powered platforms to create compelling prototypes that bring new ideas to life and validate direction before we build.
- Partner with Frame.io and Adobe leadership to influence product strategy.
- You'll present design work and insights to senior stakeholders, build consensus across organizations, and ensure design thinking drives strategic decisions at the highest levels.
- Pioneer the future of creative collaboration technology.
- You'll deeply immerse yourself in generative AI, emerging creative workflows, and next-generation tools.
- You'll identify transformative opportunities and define how Frame.io will lead the category forward.
- Serve as a design leader and mentor for the organization.
- You'll elevate the craft and strategic thinking of designers across Frame.io through critiques, workshops, and leading by example.
- You'll teach new tools and foster a culture of excellence that shapes the design organization's capabilities and impact.
What You Need to Succeed
- 10+ years of product design experience with a track record of defining and shipping category-leading products at companies known for design excellence.
- You've operated at the highest levels of product design and have demonstrable impact on products used by millions.
- World-class craft across visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
- You create prototypes that inspire teams and validate breakthrough ideas—from new micro-interactions to complex workflows.
- Your aesthetic judgment is impeccable and your work has set industry benchmarks for both quality and innovation.
- Strategic product vision with deep systems thinking.
- You understand complex product ecosystems, can envision multi-year futures, and design foundational systems that enable the entire product to evolve.
- Your work is grounded in user insights while driving business outcomes at scale.
- Executive-level communication and influence.
- You present with confidence, build compelling narratives that drive strategic alignment, and influence product direction across organizations including executive leadership.
- You create alignment at the highest levels, navigate complex organizational dynamics, and bring out the best in cross-functional partners.
- Design leadership and mentorship at scale.
- You've elevated the capabilities of design teams through your example, feedback, and thought leadership.
- You foster culture, develop talent, and expand the impact of design organizations.

- Both the work shown and how you present it should be best-in-class—showing breakthrough solutions, meticulous execution, and the strategic impact you've driven at the highest levels of product design.
Preferred
- Accessibility Design Skills: Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities. Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, specifically testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards. Accessibility certifications CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from the IAAP preferred.

Pay Information
The expected pay range for this position is $158,000 -- $301,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $207,900 - $301,050. For sales roles, starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
