Responsibilities
- Translate employment laws into clear, scalable and compliant solutions integrated into existing business practices
- Lead change enablement through development and execution of strong communication, training, and adoption plans
- Partner with Legal to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of requirements
- Integrate changes into existing HR processes, systems, and operations
- Lead end-to-end delivery of employment compliance initiatives (intake → implementation → sustainment)
- Create and implement strategic plans aligned with the business’ overall objectives and goals
- Provide clear, concise updates to leadership on progress, outcomes and risks
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships across HR, Legal, Payroll, HR Tech, and Operations
Compliance Programs & Ownership
- Own Preventing Harassment training (content, rollout, tracking, continuous improvement)
- Lead and maintain the Associate Handbook
- Create and maintain SOPs to support consistent, compliant execution
- Partner on audits, investigations, and regulatory responses
- Drive process standardization and efficiency to reduce variability
- Design and implement scalable, sustainable solutions aligned to business needs
- Solid understanding of Retail, Distribution Center, and Home Office operations to ensure practical, field-ready solutions
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze compliance trends to proactively identify risks and develop process improvement plans
- Develop and deliver concise, audience-ready reporting and insights to support leadership decision-making
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably focused in project management, human resources and/or store operations
- Experience with HR systems
- Knowledge of laws and compliance regulations that govern labor and employment practices at the local, state, regional, national, and international level…or strong eagerness to learn
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project Management tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Human Resources or Legal Compliance
