HR Compliance Sr. Specialist
Responsibilities
- Lead the company’s end-to-end immigration sponsorship programs, including work visas and employment-based green card processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely, accurate case management.
- Compile and interpret HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in compliance practices; present findings and actionable recommendations to HR leadership.
- Serve as a key partner and resource for Workday compliance system enhancements to identify opportunities for system configuration improvements, automation, and process optimization related to onboarding workflows, compliance tracking, and document management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to FLSA, ADA, FMLA, EEOC guidelines, and applicable state/local labor laws; communicate changes and support implementation of necessary policy or process adjustments.
- Conduct audits and analyze data related to human resource compliance with federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
- Implement special projects by clarifying project objectives, setting timelines and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information.
- Lead HR compliance training efforts by researching state-specific legal and regulatory requirements, partnering with stakeholders to design and deploy training programs, managing the training calendar, and tracking completion to support organizational compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years’ experience in employment law compliance, experience researching employment laws, experience implementing and monitoring a compliance program or advanced degree and equivalent work experience.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational and work prioritization skills.
- Exemplary analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills including experience with analyzing large amounts of data and developing metrics, reporting mechanisms, and audit reports.
- Strong ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maturity.
- Ability to coach and influence others.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and in a hybrid work environment.

This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 2–3 days per week at our Oak Park Heights, MN location.
Pay Range: $69,840.00 - $104,760.00

Profit Sharing: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
