Job Summary

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manages the consultation and contracting process for the most complex commodities.
  • Manages the commercial aspects of new developments for the most complex programs.
  • Counsels and supports the RFI's, RFQ's, and RFP's initiated by our parent company Dassault Aviation.
  • Develops contracts and agreements.
  • Reduces the costs of purchased materials for commodities.
  • Ensures that suppliers meet their contractual obligations and negotiates recovery plans and financial damages.
  • Documents and resolves disputes with suppliers.
  • Works with other departments to ensure that supplier constraints are understood and taken into account.
  • Explores various methods of cost savings including investigating and evaluating new sources of supply, contract negotiation, integrated suppliers, etc.
  • Serves as back-up for Purchasing Supervisor or Manager

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
  • Six (6) years’ experience in the purchasing field to include negotiating agreements and the writing and management of the contract process.
  • Advanced knowledge of the methods, practices and techniques of contract negotiations in complex or highly technical environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of purchasing and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation And Benefits

  • The compensation for this position typically falls between $70,738.00 and $94,502.50 per hour/per year.
  • This position is not eligible for overtime under FLSA guidelines.
  • Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
