Sr. Solutions Architect, Datacenter, Cloud (MI, OH, IN)

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers and account managers in pre-sales situations and collaborate effectively across functions with other Presidio employees in Sales, Marketing, Proposals, and Project Management.
• Meet with customers and collect customer requirements.
• Work with the account manager/sales team to develop customer relationships and solutions, and assist in the overall sales process.
• Create high-level solution designs/architecture and present them to customers.
• Create customer-facing presentations.
• Articulate strategies in group settings.
• Create a bill of materials & configurations for solutions.
• Build the scope of services and professional service pricing.
• Write a statement of work.

Requirements

Required Skills And Professional Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• 7+ years of experience that demonstrates a significant level of expertise in storage, virtualization, compute, converged, cloud, or related technologies/services.
• Work Experience with relevant OEM manufacturer and/or work experience with IT Solution providers/VAR/partners.

Skills

• Operational and design skills related to some or all of the following strategies, products, and technologies listed below:
• The Artificial Intelligence Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) utilizes the following:
• Dell Technologies storage and backup solutions
• Everpure Storage
• Other storage systems such as NetApp, HPE, VAST Data
• Broadcom VMware
• Nutanix Dell Servers
• Cisco UCS Servers
• HPE Servers
• Hyperconverged solutions from Nutanix, VMware and Dell
• Appropriate Storage Protocols and their hardware componentry (NFS/CIFS/ISCSI/FC)
• Cloud Architectural strategies utilizing any of the following:
• Microsoft / Azure technologies
• Google Cloud Platform
• AWS
• Automation and Orchestration Strategies
• UI Path
• VMware Automation and Operations
• Ansible
• Red Hat

Preferred Skills And Professional Experience

• Relevant industry Certifications from Dell, Netapp, Everpure, AWS, VMWare, or similar vendors
