About the role
The Alexa+ team seeks an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to drive strategic adoption of Alexa+ across Tier-1 partners, and shape the future of Generative AI integrations at scale. Powered by GenAI, Alexa+ is your new personal AI assistant that gets things done - she’s smarter, more conversational, more capable, and is available across our family of devices: screened, non-screened, mobile, FireTV, and Alexa.com, to name a few. Rebuilt from the ground up, this new version of Alexa uses a state-of-the-art architecture that automatically connects a variety of large language models (LLMs), agentic capabilities, services, and devices at scale.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify future trends and product gaps, develop reusable architectural frameworks to accelerate adoption, and establish best practices that empower the broader SA community.
- Drive C-level technical engagement with strategic partners, establish technology roadmaps that drive Amazon and partner flywheels, and influence Alexa+'s customer and developer experience through synthesis of market trends, competitive intelligence, and strategic partner feedback.
- Collaborate with product leadership during early formation stages of new capabilities, directly influencing product requirements and go-to-market strategies, and accelerate SA community development by mentoring junior architects, performing technical promotion assessments, and establishing team best practices.
- Represent Amazon as a recognized thought leader at major industry events, establishing technical credibility that opens new strategic partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
- Designing and shipping LLM-powered features in production systems, with emphasis on system architecture (latency, streaming, orchestration).
