About the role

As the Sr. Solution Architect – Customer Technology, you will shape the technical vision and strategy for customer-facing systems that drive business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Define and govern the enterprise architecture for customer technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT standards.
  • Lead the design, integration, and optimization of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across e-commerce, CRM, digital experience, and data analytics domains.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust architectural blueprints and roadmaps.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to recommend solutions that enhance customer engagement, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Establish architecture principles, patterns, and best practices; mentor teams on implementation and adherence.
  • Drive technical decision-making, risk assessment, and trade-off analysis for complex initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in all customer-facing solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and scalability; identify and resolve architectural gaps or bottlenecks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on customer-facing technology solutions (e.g., e-commerce, CRM, digital platforms).
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and data modeling.
  • Strong background in security-by-design, identity management (e.g., OAuth, SAML), and data protection practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365) and e-commerce solutions (e.g., SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
