Sr Service Technician

Responsibilities
- Service top of rail and gauge face lubricator units to specified guidelines.
- Perform lubrication service program for railroad customers.
- Uses logic and methods to solve problems to find effective solutions.
- Manage inventory held on maintenance vehicle through company processes.
- Plans work based on length and task difficulty, develops schedules, and anticipates and adjusts for problems to meet objectives.
- Process work orders and complete all necessary delivery tickets, warranty paperwork, and returns through approved company processes.
- Proactive problem resolution
- Build customer and supplier relations for improved products and services.
- Work with Sales Department to ensure customer expectations are met.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of Field service experience with customer facing role
- 2+ years working in a railroad environment, Field service, and Basic computer skills
- Licenses/Certifications: Maintain railroad safety training and certifications
- Currently hold be able to maintain a DOT medical card
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associate degree in Electrical or Mechanical

Compensation
The pay range for this position is between $50,800-$71,100
Schedule
100% travel, using any method of transportation. Adequate transportation to and from

- Can tolerate variable and sometimes extreme physical conditions during visits or inspections of company equipment in a railroad environment.
