About the role

This role ensures the safety and security of executives with primary focus on the CEO. The Executive Protection Professional participates in the design and planning of strategic security measures and collaborates with internal and external partners to proactively mitigate risks. This position has high visibility with Honeywell Aerospace executives and other key stakeholders and requires flexibility to work outside standard office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on executive schedules and security needs. Frequent domestic and international travel and site visits are expected, including customer and government offices. The role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the management of the executive protection program, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Implement and execute security measures to safeguard the CEO at their residence, office, and during domestic and international travel.
  • Evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities facing company executives through ongoing risk analysis and intelligence gathering.
  • Develop and update comprehensive protection strategies tailored to executive profiles, travel itineraries, and emerging risks.
  • Coordinate and execute logistics for executive movements, including transportation, accommodation, advance site visits, and contingency planning.
  • Work closely with other security teams, administrative support, and external vendors to integrate protection efforts and ensure seamless operations.
  • Create and implement actionable plans to address identified risks, including emergency response protocols and security technology deployment.
  • Oversee the physical security of executive workspaces, ensuring access control, surveillance, and safety measures are in place and effective.

Requirements

You must have:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in executive protection, corporate security, or law enforcement.
  • Proven expertise in risk assessment, security strategy development, and crisis management.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to travel frequently and respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.
  • Eligible for a firearm license in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • U.S. person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status under asylum or refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations.

  • Current government clearance.
  • Self-starter and motivated, able to operate with limited supervision.
  • Attention to detail and delivery oriented, able to effectively plan and track to schedules, excellent follow-through.
  • Strong stakeholder and change/engagement skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate clear objectives.
