About the role

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Prime Video Core Engineering team within the CLUE organization. Your responsibilities will involve designing and developing systems and infrastructures used by Amazon's millions of customers worldwide. You will work closely with product management and senior engineering leadership to help build our technology vision and create a high-performing engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable systems and infrastructures
• Collaborate with product management and senior engineering leadership
• Create a technology vision and high-performing engineering culture
• Work on complex system software
• Be customer-centric and connect customer problems through scalable software

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with building and operating web-based applications and/or web services-based applications, especially at massive scale

Skills

• Strong background in building highly scalable systems and system design
• Excellent communication skills
• Motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $168,100.00 - $227,400.00 USD annually.
