Photovoltaic (PV) and BESS Engineers

About the role

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to support renewable energy designs for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The ideal candidate will be based in multiple office locations including Billings, MT, Phoenix, AZ, and Portland, OR (physically located in Tigard, OR).

Responsibilities

• Design and studies of underground collector systems
• Routing and development of system plans
• Grounding plans and conduit plans
• Preparation of bill of materials and electric schematics
• Conceptual design for bidding support

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years' design engineering experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Commitment to quality and accuracy
• Willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules

Qualifications

• PE licensure is preferred, but not required
• Fundamental knowledge of power engineering principles and applicable codes and standards

Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar software

Pay

Salary commensurate with experience and education.
