About the role

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) sales organization is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects who support the largest Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) customers. This role involves partnering with sellers as part of an account team to drive business outcomes for customers. You will lead, motivate, and coach your team in developing relationships with technical executives, guiding customers in using architecture best practices, and partnering with product teams to invent new solutions on behalf of your customers. You will also coach your team in scaling their learnings through internal and external publications and speaking engagements.

Responsibilities

• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects
• Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to work with ISV customers to transfer deep technical knowledge
• Ensure success in building, migrating, and modernizing applications, software, and services on AWS
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams, and Support

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer-facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
