Responsibilities
- Provide on-site leadership and direction to construction teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Monitor project progress, schedule, and budget, reporting status and issues to project managers
- Cookordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and site-related issues
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare daily reports, documentation, and maintain project records
- Support change order management and claims resolution process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role in construction management, preferrably on transit projects
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, and standards
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions on-site
- Experience working on large-scale civil, infrastructure, or commercial projects is preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP, DBIA certifications preferred
Pay
Salary Range: $200,000-$215,000
Schedule
Full-time, on-site position.
