Sr. Research Specialist II (Biophysics)

The role involves managing a team of researchers and overseeing projects related to advanced data analytics and machine learning applications in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of data scientists and analysts in developing predictive models and algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into clinical decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ensure data quality and security standards are met.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide career development guidance to team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and machine learning.

Requirements

• A PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading teams of data scientists and analysts.
• Experience in implementing machine learning models and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Python, R, and/or other programming languages used in data science.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
