About the role
As a member of Ryan’s Talent Acquisition team, the Senior Recruiter manages all phases of the recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing and phone screening to hiring manager presentation, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding. This role partners with hiring managers to fill current hiring needs, plan future hiring, and build strong talent pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Recruit best-in-class construction and field talent, including project managers, superintendents, estimators, and preconstruction professionals.
- Source candidates using social media, networking, and industry events for construction operations.
- Screen applicants and select candidates for management review.
- Oversee a requisition portfolio, providing regular progress updates, metrics, and action plans for hiring managers.
- Create and maintain a database of candidates for future positions.
- Extend offers and secure offer acceptance.
- Track U.S. and multinational labor resources.
- Manage relationships with external staffing agencies to identify candidates.
- Attend live and virtual networking events to build talent networks and market the Ryan brand.
- Drive continuous improvement in candidate experience, recruiting best practices, and compliance with AAP/EEO/DOL and OFCCP regulations.
- Collaborate with recruiting coordinators throughout the lifecycle to delegate tasks such as postings, background testing, pre-employment screenings, offer letters, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience recruiting professionals in the construction industry.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $105,000. The base rate may vary within this range based on factors such as location and the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program.
