Sr. Radiologic Technologist Full-Time, Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Operates all x-ray equipment in the radiology department to produce images of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians.
• Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts equipment and determines proper technique and desired exposure times for each image.
• Explains any post-procedure instructions to patients upon exam completion.
• Supports radiologists by assisting with specialized tests, notifying radiologists of STAT exams within guidelines and producing quality images to aid in diagnosis.
• Prepares and performs exams while demonstrating efficiency and professionalism.
• Operates highly complex radiographic equipment within the cardiac catheterization department, selecting technical factors to ensure high quality radiographs using ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) standards.
• Leads collaborative departmental protocol development efforts.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Five years' radiology experience: Preferred
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA and HI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required in CA within 6 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $42.79 to $58.69. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.

Schedule

Full time, Day Shift, 8 hours per shift.
