About the Role
A Radiologic Technologist responsible for assisting physicians with radiographic examinations and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
- Maintain departmental operations, including record keeping and equipment troubleshooting.
- Assist with patient positioning, transport, and radiation protection.
- Participate in quality assurance, ongoing education, and cross-training efforts.
- Operate imaging tools, including PACS and laser printers, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Support department functions, attend staff meetings, and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- ARRT registration and valid California CRT license required.
- BLS certification mandated.
- Fluoroscopy permit within six months of employment.
- One to five years of experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle stressful situations professionally, and maintain confidentiality.
- Physical ability to perform job tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
