About the Role

A Radiologic Technologist responsible for assisting physicians with radiographic examinations and operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and perform radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and care quality.
  • Maintain departmental operations, including record keeping and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Assist with patient positioning, transport, and radiation protection.
  • Participate in quality assurance, ongoing education, and cross-training efforts.
  • Operate imaging tools, including PACS and laser printers, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Support department functions, attend staff meetings, and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • ARRT registration and valid California CRT license required.
  • BLS certification mandated.
  • Fluoroscopy permit within six months of employment.
  • One to five years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle stressful situations professionally, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Physical ability to perform job tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
