About the Role
The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations, collaborates with the Director of Imaging and Radiologist, and contributes to departmental efficiency and patient care quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images, ensuring safety and age-appropriate care.
- Assist with patient positioning, transport, and provide radiation protection.
- Maintain records, quality control, and participate in quality assurance programs.
- Support department functions, train staff, and participate in continuing education.
- Troubleshoot equipment and manage patient flow.
Requirements
- One to five years of technologist experience preferred.
- ARRT (R) certification, CRT license, and BLS certification required.
- Fluoroscopy permit within six months of employment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and independent work skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and patient handling.
