About the Role

The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic examinations, collaborates with the Director of Imaging and Radiologist, and contributes to departmental efficiency and patient care quality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images, ensuring safety and age-appropriate care.
  • Assist with patient positioning, transport, and provide radiation protection.
  • Maintain records, quality control, and participate in quality assurance programs.
  • Support department functions, train staff, and participate in continuing education.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and manage patient flow.

Requirements

  • One to five years of technologist experience preferred.
  • ARRT (R) certification, CRT license, and BLS certification required.
  • Fluoroscopy permit within six months of employment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and independent work skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain confidentiality.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and patient handling.
