About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Sr R&O Maintenance Analyst Supervisor to oversee our facility's maintenance operations in Colonial Heights, VA. In this role, you will maximize equipment reliability, uptime, and safety while optimizing operational costs. You will lead a team of technicians and supervisors, championing a proactive maintenance culture through rigorous planning, scheduling, and execution, all driven by data-backed decisions within SAP.
Leadership & Culture Building
- Actively champion a shift from a reactive, "fix-it-when-it-breaks" mindset to a proactive, ownership-driven reliability culture where every team member takes pride in equipment health.
- Mentor, coach, and build clear career progression pathways for technicians, planners, and supervisors. Identify skill gaps and implement continuous technical and leadership training programs.
- Establish psychological safety alongside high accountability, ensuring a zero-incident safety culture where near-misses are openly reported, investigated, and used as learning opportunities.
- Break down silos between the maintenance, production, and safety departments, fostering a collaborative "One Team" approach to achieve plant goals.
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Drive the transition from reactive to proactive maintenance by establishing, refining, and enforcing robust preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs.
- Oversee the maintenance backlog, ensuring tasks are prioritized based on operational risk, resource availability, and material lead times.
- Collaborate closely with Production and Operations teams to coordinate planned shutdowns and minimize impact on manufacturing schedules.
Work Execution & Performance
- Ensure all maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of technical quality.
- Provide guidance and rapid-response leadership for critical equipment breakdowns, ensuring root-cause analysis (RCA) is conducted to prevent recurrence.
- Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting complex asset failures and implementing long-term reliability solutions.
SAP Data & System Utilization
- Serve as the site subject matter expert (SME) for the SAP Maintenance Module (PM).
- Ensure all work orders, equipment histories, parts consumption, and labor hours are accurately tracked and documented within SAP.
- Leverage SAP data to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and PM compliance.
Budgeting & Financial Management
- Develop, justify, and manage the annual plant maintenance budget.
- Monitor maintenance expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage spare parts inventory levels to optimize working capital without risking equipment uptime.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external contractors and parts suppliers to ensure high-quality service at competitive rates.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years industrial manufacturing experience.
