Responsibilities
- Serve as technical team member from early-stage into formal design control programs
- Build neurovascular-endovascular catheter/controller prototypes using a variety of equipment
- Author component/assembly drawings, specification documents, test protocols and reports
- Perform design control activities for new product development including performing comprehensive design evaluation, contributing to risk analyses (Hazards/Harms, FMEAs etc.) and ensuring documentation is in accordance with Quality System requirements
- Perform Design Verification testing and participate in design validation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the medical device or related regulated industry; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Previous experience in catheter design and design control procedures and requirements
- Statistical analysis Software (Minitab or similar) and CAD (Solidworks, ProE, similar).
- Demonstrated knowledge of and exposure to product testing and data collection
- Strong skill detailing project plans effectively with ability to complete projects independently or as part of a team

Benefits
The posted salary range reflects compensation for employees based in the local Bay Area market. For candidates hired outside of this geographic area, compensation may vary and be adjusted based on location, local market conditions, and other factors.
Pay
Salary Range: $132,000 – 158,000/annually
