About the role

The Sr Quality Control Operator ensures agreed upon quality standards are met in final layouts for intermediate production assignments. With limited guidance from the client project team, this position executes digital and analogue techniques to confirm final product meets project specifications and complies with technical requirements. The role supports the Production team in achieving published on-time delivery, ENCP, and/or INCP Production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Attends project or production meetings as necessary to understand project specifications.
  • Establishes high quality standards for all production processes, workflows, and client deliverables.
  • Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high-quality intermediate-level artwork using industry-standard software, tools, and prepress and print techniques.
  • Performs assigned tasks within the overall production workflow and budget, adhering to work order specifications, industry and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company standards, and client brand guidelines.
  • Maintains accurate records of project plans, time dedicated to specific projects, and any quality issues in the project tracking system to keep the client project team informed.
  • Meets quality standards for all assigned deliverables and recommends improvements to reports, tools, processes, and tasks.
  • Supports company profitability by ensuring the quality of completed production activities aligns with original client specifications.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts or related field.
  • 4+ years of previous graphic arts experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and internal/external clients.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

Work Environment

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk, hear, and see.
  • Regularly or occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Regularly or occasionally exposed to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Pay

The U.S. pay range for this position is $77,796 USD - $87,796 USD annually. Pay is determined by location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Schedule

This is a remote position in the U.S., open to candidates in various states except AK, DC, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
