Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, AWS Quick Desktop

About the role

Amazon Quick Desktop is an AI-powered intelligent work companion that connects knowledge workers' digital tools into a unified desktop experience. We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead the quality assurance strategy for Quick Desktop across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality strategy

• Design and implement state-of-the-art test automation frameworks

• Drive AI/agent quality evaluation

• Establish quality metrics and reporting

• Lead cross-functional quality initiatives

• Design test harnesses and contract tests for connectors and integrations

• Mentor and raise the bar within the team

• Anticipate future testing needs

Requirements

• 6+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

• 4+ years of delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading QA projects and initiatives experience

• Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in a QA role

• Experience in automation testing

• Experience in manual testing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of UI Automation (preferably on mobile platforms) experience

• Knowledge of at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, Objective C

Skills

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools

• Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks

• Ability to develop and maintain AI-powered evaluation systems

• Experience in evaluating and improving quality metrics

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
