About the role

The Sr. Project Manager will provide direct oversight and leadership to assigned Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field teams. They will define clear project goals and deliverables, develop comprehensive project documentation and execution plans, serve as the primary point of contact for the client, establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, manage construction activities, proactively identify and resolve project issues, represent the company in project-related meetings, oversee and manage the financial aspects of each project, supervise Project Managers as needed, and perform additional duties as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and leadership to assigned Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field teams
  • Define clear project goals and deliverables; develop comprehensive project documentation and execution plans (project cookbook)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client expectations and timely communication
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to support project progress and foster future opportunities
  • Manage construction activities by coordinating administrative and field operations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues; initiate corrective measures for any risks or deviations from plan
  • Represent the company in project-related meetings, including strategic planning and client-facing discussions
  • Oversee and manage the financial aspects of each project, including contract terms, invoicing, equipment rentals, and cost controls to safeguard company interests
  • Supervise Project Managers as needed, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight
  • Perform additional duties as required to support project and organizational success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field; or a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction, design, project management, or related disciplines
  • Proven experience managing and leading teams; prior supervisory or people management experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to optimize team performance and project outcomes
  • Strong understanding of industry practices, corporate processes, standards, and their impact on project execution
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information professionally and effectively
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and business urgency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of summarizing and interpreting complex data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to create, edit, and analyze a wide range of documentation, including project reports, quotes, invoices, and work orders
  • Familiarity with Rogers Electric systems or similar project and work order management platforms
