Sr Project Manager/Client Strategist - Highway/Roadway

About the role

Your impact As a key member of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the Project Manager for highway and roadway projects – planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design.

Responsibilities

  • Helping guide our client strategies and help keep track of key “happenings” and new developments.
  • Having a leadership role in the development, maintenance, and advancement of the client relationships with CTDOT and other stakeholders associated with CTDOT.
  • Supporting sales leads in the strategy of the account, pipeline decisions, go/no-go processes, and win strategies.
  • BUILDING/GROWING relationships with CTDOT’s key staff through face to face meetings and participating in debriefs, client satisfaction surveys, and industry organizations.
  • Keeping apprised of meetings that operations and other staff are having with the client to both influence and guide conversations at the direction of the sales lead.
  • DeterminING TEAMING PARTNERS to add to teams and help obtain teaming arrangements accordingly.
  • LEADING KEY PURSUIT ACTIVITIES during opening, middle and end game, working closely with sales.
  • TRACKING AND SHARING CLIENT RELATIONSHIP AND PROJECT DELIVERY STATUS to relevant internal stakeholders through call plans, call reports, client account planning, and CSP.
  • OBTAINING AND DISTILLING FEEDBACK and other indicators that may influence middle game actions.
  • ADVOCATING IN YOUR CLIENT’S INTEREST, maintaining and enforcing client confidentiality (if applicable), procurement integrity, etc.
  • WORKING DIRECTLY WITH the CTDOT CAM and CAP on overall client strategy, with operations for projects delivery, and coordination on pursuits with sales operations.
  • WORKING WITH the CTDOT CAM to identify and maintain the pipeline with accurate information.
  • INTEGRATING GROWTH with CTDOT prioritizing overall client satisfaction from client relationship through final project delivery.
  • Completing relationship-based sales training, maintaining general understanding of services offered by Jacobs, keeping up to date with company news, developments, acquisitions/mergers, and remaining aligned with overall corporate strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • CT Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Substantial years of designing highway and roadway projects
  • Expertise with project management in delivering infrastructure projects for ConDOT

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $180,000.00 to $250,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
