Job Responsibilities
- Managing multiple transportation design projects with focus on client interactions
- Providing daily quality control
- Managing and training junior level engineers
- Aiding with business development
- Strategic Planning & Oversight
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans
- Ensure all roadway design and construction activities align with jurisdictional standards
- Oversee multiple phases of roadway projects—from conceptual planning to final design and construction
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders
- Lead presentations, public hearings, and meetings to communicate project goals and updates
- Address concerns and incorporate feedback into project development
- Financial & Contractual Management
- Manage contracts, billing, and collections to ensure project profitability
- Track expenditures and maintain strict cost control throughout the project life cycle
- BSCE or BCE required
- 10+ years of highway design and 2+ years of project management experience required
- GA PE and GSWCC Level II certification required
- Experience with Bentley MicroStation V8 and MS Office applications required
- Experience with Bentley Open Roads Designer preferred
- Experience with Georgia DOT PDP preferred
