Sr. Project Estimator

About the role

Responsible for preparing detailed project estimates, managing budgets, and collaborating with clients and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive project estimates and budgets
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and specifications
• Manage project costs and monitor budget adherence
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project planning
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior estimators

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with construction contract documents and pricing systems
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

Skills

• Proficient in using construction estimating software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
