SR PROGRAM MANAGER- MARKETING PMO TRANSFORMATION
About the role
This senior marketing program management role leads complex, high‑visibility initiatives while helping transform the Marketing PMO into an AI‑first organization. The role manages strategic programs and drives PMO process improvement by leveraging AI to streamline project management, reporting, coordination, and decision‑making to evolve the PMO from project administration toward value orchestration. The ideal candidate will rethink how work gets done and redesign processes around what’s possible with AI—automating workflows, implementing AI‑enabled ways of working, and redesigning processes around human‑AI collaboration rather than simply using AI to be more efficient. Through program leadership and innovation, this role will help define and scale the future state of the Marketing PMO.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of complex marketing programs and strategic initiatives while advancing AI‑first PMO practices.
- Redesign project management processes by leveraging AI to automate, simplify, and enhance planning, reporting, governance, risk management, and stakeholder communications.
- Build and implement AI‑enabled workflows, automations, playbooks, and decision‑support tools that improve execution efficiency and visibility.
- Analyze cross‑functional workflows, identify bottlenecks, and drive scalable process improvements using systems thinking.
- Optimize PMO operations, including intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, governance, resource management, and executive reporting.
- Partner with senior leaders to improve prioritization, resource allocation, decision‑making, and organizational effectiveness.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI capabilities to continuously improve PMO operations.
- Drive adoption of AI‑enabled ways of working through change leadership, coaching, and enablement.
Requirements
- Ten plus years of experience leading complex programs, PMOs, business transformations, or strategic operations in large, matrixed organizations.
- Proven success delivering high‑impact initiatives while improving processes, workflows, or operating models.
- Demonstrated experience using AI to fundamentally redesign work, automate manual processes, and improve decision‑making.
- Expertise in portfolio management, process optimization, organizational effectiveness, operating model design, change management, and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of AI and automation technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, AI agents, workflow automation, and work management platforms.
- Systems‑thinking mindset with the ability to identify root causes, manage interdependencies, and design scalable solutions.
- Strong influencing and change leadership skills, with the ability to drive transformation without direct authority.
- Experience with project management tools like Workfront Planning, Workfront, ClickUp, etc. is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of related experience.
Pay
Location‑based pay ranges:
- $132,232 – $176,310 in AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY
- $138,844 – $185,124 in CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI
- $145,456 – $193,940 in AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA
