Sr. Program Manager - Certification and Compliance

About the role

Lead enterprise-wide certification and compliance initiatives for a global technology and cybersecurity organization. Drive regulatory readiness, oversee certification programs, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet evolving global security and compliance standards. This is a long-term contract opportunity with remote work in EST hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification and compliance programs across a global product portfolio.
• Drive readiness efforts for emerging regulations, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
• Translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for engineering and product teams.
• Manage certification initiatives involving Common Criteria (CC), FIPS, CE Marking, and related frameworks.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Product, and Legal teams to integrate compliance requirements into the product lifecycle.
• Mentor and support globally distributed compliance and certification teams.
• Represent the organization with regulatory agencies, auditors, and industry groups.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in program management, compliance, engineering leadership, or related fields.
• Strong program management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives.
• Experience with Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Common Criteria (CC), FIPS, and/or CE Marking.
• Background in networking, cybersecurity, software, or hardware product development.
• Ability to navigate evolving regulatory environments and drive organizational change.
• Experience within a large enterprise technology environment preferred.

Pay

$125,000 - $155,000
