About the role
Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Program Manager - Certification and Compliance Strategy to join a leading technology organization focused on delivering secure, compliant products in a highly regulated environment. The Sr. Program Manager - Certification and Compliance Strategy will play a critical role in driving regulatory readiness initiatives, shaping compliance strategy, and leading cross-functional programs in support of evolving global cybersecurity requirements, including the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide certification and compliance programs from planning through execution and delivery.
- Develop and maintain compliance strategies aligned with global regulatory and cybersecurity requirements, including CRA, Common Criteria (CC), and FIPS standards.
- Partner with engineering, product, security, legal, and executive stakeholders to ensure products meet certification and regulatory obligations.
- Drive readiness efforts for upcoming regulatory requirements and evolving compliance frameworks.
- Establish governance processes, program roadmaps, risk management strategies, and reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor industry and regulatory changes, proactively assessing impacts and developing implementation plans.
- Coordinate external audits, assessments, and certification activities while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Communicate program status, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of compliance awareness and continuous improvement across teams.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- 7+ years of Program Management experience managing complex, cross-functional programs.
- Strong background supporting compliance and certification initiatives involving Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Common Criteria (CC), and FIPS standards.
- Experience developing and executing compliance strategies within cybersecurity, software, or technology-driven environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and align teams around regulatory and business objectives.
- Strong risk management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable plans.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience preferred.
Pay
Salary range: $125,000 - $155,000 depending on experience.
