  • Develop strong working relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Help manage program schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables in support of customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, commercial, supply chain, and external partners to support aligned and timely program delivery.
  • Provide clear status updates, track progress, and maintain visibility for internal teams and customers.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and potential roadblocks, and work with teams to develop practical mitigation plans.
  • Support issue resolution and help maintain effective coordination from order entry through manufacturing, delivery, and closeout.
  • Apply contract, claim, and change management practices to support customer commitments and business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
  • Experience with project management and business tools such as SAP, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for employer sponsorship.

About the company

  • Join a global technology leader advancing sustainable energy solutions and innovative transformer technologies.
  • Grow your career through continuous learning, international collaboration, and leadership development opportunities.
  • Be part of an inclusive, values-driven culture that prioritizes safety, integrity, innovation, and long-term success.

Background screening

As part of the hiring process, Hitachi Energy conducts pre-employment background checks that may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, and other relevant information, in accordance with applicable laws. For certain roles—particularly those involving access to sensitive information, financial responsibilities, client data, regulated environments, or security-sensitive functions—additional or more comprehensive background or security screenings may be required. These may include, but are not limited to, enhanced criminal history checks, credit history reviews (where legally permissible), sanctions screening, or other due diligence measures aligned with the responsibilities of the position. The scope and depth of any background or security review will be determined based on the nature of the role and business necessity, and will always be conducted in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Candidates will be notified and, where required, asked to provide consent prior to the initiation of any such checks.
