About the role

Reporting to a Staff Program Manager, this onsite Program Manager role is based in Buffalo, NY, with Moog Aircraft Group’s Commercial Aftermarket Group. You will collaborate externally with customers and internally with teams and management to meet or exceed program expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities.
  • Achieve program/project objectives using effective program management within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Support process improvements and standard work implementation within Program Management.
  • Sustain and expand the organization’s book of business by leading or supporting proposal teams and business capture campaigns.
  • Coordinate all program elements by developing detailed program plans and monitoring cost, schedule, and task completion.
  • Resolve outstanding issues through day-to-day communications with the customer, Moog management, and functional organizations.
  • Optimize program success by collaborating with OE Program Managers and other stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Program Management or similar experience, preferably in aerospace and engineering.
  • Proven leadership experience, excellent listening and persuasive skills.
  • Demonstrated team collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and a strong sense of customer orientation.
  • Requires access to US Export Controlled information.
  • Knowledge of project management tools including Earned Value Management.
  • Experience managing multiple programs.
  • Experience in reporting and managing production program line of balance to customer.
  • Experience working with operations, supply chain, and engineering.
  • Experience leading proposal development and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience managing a development program schedule, cost, and risk.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to present to customers and other groups under pressure.
  • Ability to lead, organize, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with Aftermarket is desired.

Pay

Buffalo, NY: $100,000.00–$120,000.00 annually. Actual salary will vary based on location, experience, and performance; other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, open paid time off, and region-specific benefits.
