Sr. Product Marketing Manager 1, AI Ecosystem
This role is based in New York, NY, San Francisco, CA, or Sunnyvale, CA. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
LinkedIn was built to help professionals achieve more in their careers, and every day, millions of people use our products to make connections, discover opportunities, and gain insights. Our global reach means we get to make a direct impact on the world’s workforce in ways no other company can. We’re much more than a digital resume – we transform lives through innovative products and technology.
LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) is a multi-billion-dollar business with significant growth potential. As agentic AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) become integral to how marketers plan, execute, and measure their advertising campaigns, LMS is creating an ecosystem of offerings for our customers to access, analyze, and act on LinkedIn Ads through third-party applications and tools.
About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead market intelligence, customer research, and go-to-market strategy for LinkedIn Ads’ emerging AI ecosystem. This includes experiences for how LinkedIn Ads integrates with popular LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT), Model Context Protocol (MCP) initiatives, and broader efforts to help LinkedIn Ads show up where marketers increasingly work, such as agent platforms, developer workflows, and agency-built tools.
In this role, you will help shape LinkedIn’s strategy for how ad platforms participate in the evolving AI ecosystem. You will uncover customer needs, identify emerging workflows and trends, inform product strategy, develop differentiated positioning, and drive adoption across a portfolio of solutions through deep customer research and cross-functional partnership. You will serve as a key voice on the competitive and market landscape, driving understanding of how ad platforms, agencies, and AI platforms are redefining advertising through agents and AI-native experiences.
The ideal candidate has strong product marketing fundamentals, is highly technical and deeply curious about AI and emerging technologies, excels at translating customer insights into strategy, and thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where the strategy and broader category are still being defined.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of how marketers, agencies, and developers are using AI assistants, LLMs, and agentic workflows to plan, manage, optimize, and measure advertising campaigns.
- Own qualitative and quantitative customer research and demand-validation function for LinkedIn Ads' AI ecosystem, determining which agentic use-cases are worth building against, and supporting product investment cases.
- Craft go-to-market (GTM) strategies including target audiences, positioning, messaging, launch plans, and adoption programs for LinkedIn Ads AI integrations, MCP server, and future ecosystem partnerships.
- Own the GTM strategy for LinkedIn Ads' AI integrations and MCP server, accountable for adoption outcomes, not just launch execution, across a growing portfolio of AI ecosystem partnerships.
- Own LinkedIn's competitive and market-intelligence view of the AI ecosystem, synthesizing signals across ad platforms, AI platforms, and emerging agency-built tools into a clear point of view that directly shapes product roadmap and GTM prioritization.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Business Development, Design, Legal, Sales, and Marketing to define the product roadmap, identify new partnership opportunities, and articulate LinkedIn’s differentiated role in helping B2B marketers drive business outcomes through AI-first experiences.
- Build structured feedback loops with customers, agencies, sales teams, partners, and developers to capture ongoing market signals and identify emerging opportunities.
- Partner closely with agency teams to understand how leading agencies are leveraging AI assistants, custom agents, MCP infrastructure, and workflow automation on behalf of clients, and translate these learnings into product strategy and GTM recommendations.
