About the role

The Trust & Privacy team is responsible for defining, maintaining, and raising the bar with respect to the trust and privacy of Leo customers in 100+ countries. As a horizontal team, we are accountable for trust and privacy outcomes while working cross-functionally both within Amazon Leo and across Amazon, including with Legal, PR, Public Policy, engineering, and business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to define Amazon Leo service offerings via expertly crafted working backwards, business requirements documents which can easily be translated into product and engineering deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical product strategy for privacy and trust across Leo.
  • Navigate complex and novel customer trust scenarios independently.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that balance customer trust, user experience, and business objectives across our global customer base.

Requirements

The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing skills and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. The best candidates will have deep understanding of customer needs for modern telecommunication services. Candidates with demonstrated business and operational experience within high scale fixed, wireless and satellite telecommunications services targeting consumer and enterprise verticals will be preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • MBA

Export Control Requirement

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
