About the role
The Sr. Product Manager will be part of the product management team working as a hybrid employee. Key responsibilities include developing the DEWALT ConTech Connectivity & Network Strategy, conducting market opportunity analysis, building and executing the product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging with customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop the DEWALT ConTech Connectivity & Network Strategy
- Familiarize with industry trends, assess market opportunities, and develop connected tools & asset deployment workflows
- Partner with Tools Product Managers to develop end-user-focused product requirements and work closely with engineering teams
- Directly support new product development (NPD) and connected product derivative (DMOD) program execution for integrated TOOL CONNECT+ programs
- Conduct regular site visits to understand end-user needs and pain points related to connectivity
- Assist Sales and Customer Success team members in resolving connectivity related issues in the field
- Provide input and support for leadership rhythms and presentations, including MBRs, NPD launch readiness reviews, Connectivity & Network strategy read-outs, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the IoT or connected devices space
- Strong understanding of hardware and embedded software development processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy considerations for connected devices
- Experience with Microsoft 365 productivity and business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
- Comfort on commercial construction sites and experience using power tools

$77,600 - $124,900 annually
