Sr. Principal Scientist, Stores Economics and Science

About the role

The Sr. Principal Scientist, Stores Economics and Science is responsible for providing structure around complex business problems, working with machine learning scientists to estimate and validate models on large scale data, and helping business and tech partners translate analysis into impactful policies, programs, and actions.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of scientific models and manage data analysis, modeling, and experimentation.
• Collaborate with business partners to communicate the properties of analysis/models and incorporate their feedback and requests.
• Perform high-quality analysis of data at scale.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research or related field.
• Experience in industry, consulting, government, or academic research.
• Coding ability in a scripting language such as R, Python, Matlab, or STATA.

Qualifications

• Strong track record in performing high-quality analysis of data at scale.

Skills

Experience in applied economic analysis and familiarity with modern tools for data science and business analysis.

Pay

Base salary range: $276,100.00 - $350,000.00 USD annually
