About the role
UPMC University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a Senior Practice Manager to oversee multiple practice locations for their Hepatobiliary Surgery and Endocrine Surgery team in Pittsburgh. This role supports 9,600 annual patient visits across multiple practice locations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate and high quality staffing through the strategic placement of office coordinators, office and practice managers.
- Serve as liaison to various UPMC departments and resources.
- Serve as liaison for renovations, construction and building utilization with UPMC and outside construction services.
- Develop strategic plans for practices.
- Maintain knowledge initiatives as it relates to the operation of the practices.
- Oversee and assist in the recruitment of staff and new practices.
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of current procedures and plans with Office/Practice Manager and Physician to develop and implement new, more efficient systems and procedures as required to improve office operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree + 3 years of management experience with 1 year healthcare experience OR
- Associate's Degree + 3 years healthcare experience and 3 years of management experience OR
- High School Diploma + 5 years healthcare experience / Fellowship Program Graduate / and 5 years of management experience
Requirements
- Previous healthcare and management experience are required.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $XX,XXX - $XXXX per year.
Schedule
This position will be expected to work Monday through Friday, primarily daylight hours. No weekends or holidays required.
