Sr Portable Gas Detection Training Professional
About the role
You will play a vital role in shaping and delivering customer training programs for Honeywell’s portable gas detection solutions. Reporting directly to the Portable Gas Detection Product Growth Leader, you will work from our Houston, TX or Lincolnshire, IL location on a hybrid work schedule. Your expertise in instructional design and training methodologies will support the development of engaging training initiatives that drive exceptional customer experiences and align with organizational goals.
In this role, you will ensure our sales team, distributors, and customers are well-equipped to understand and use our portable gas detection and software solutions, impacting the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver internal and external portable gas detection training programs tailored to various levels and roles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and close skill gaps.
- Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve training content and delivery methods for maximum engagement and effectiveness.
- Support the offering management team in the development of white papers, revision of manuals, and other customer-facing documents.
Requirements
You must have:
- Proven experience in gas detection training or a related safety training field, with a successful track record of designing and delivering impactful training programs.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies to create engaging and effective training materials.
- Experience with Honeywell BW and RAE portable gas detection products or other competitor portable gas detection products.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $95,700.00 – $119,600.00. This serves as a general guideline; actual offers may vary based on candidate experience, education, key skills, and market considerations.
