Responsibilities

• Develops community relations development plan and strategies to engage community members as volunteers and potential donors.
• Develops strategic development of the annual fundraising plan to support foundation growth.
• Manages daily operations of the foundation.
• Develops, executes and follows-up donor campaigns including individual donors, major gifts, annual appeal and annual fundraising events.
• Aids in the development of outgoing communications and public relations for the foundation.
• Works collaboratively with other departments in the development and implementation of marketing and public relations activities.
• Represents the Ministry at various external fundraising, community and governmental meetings.
• Creates and implements corporate partnership and sponsorship programs.
• Organizes periodic community outreach and education events to share the mission of the Foundation.
• Develops support and participation from potential donors and volunteers.

Requirements

• Education and Work Experience: Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
• Bachelor's Degree: Preferred.
• Five years' fundraising experience: Preferred.
