About the role

Account Management, specifically focusing on checking unpaid claim status through electronic means or phone calls. This involves working with third-party carriers or intermediaries.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard Operating Departmental Procedures to pursue prompt payment of Hospital claims for assigned financial classes and payors.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive payer collections.
• Communicate process issues and improvements to the Patient Account Lead.

Requirements

• Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in medical billing and/or collections required.
